Catechist Seminar - Day 01
I was realllllllly hesitant to go since I don't know anyone and I'm the only one from our barangay who volunteered to be a Catechist. It was embarrassing to see that I'm the only one with colored hair and they look at me like I'm a freak or something Lol. And whenever they ask me where I go to school, I always have second thoughts about answering since most of them don't go to University. Plus, with all their questions it seems that they want to know more about me. Lol. AND I DON'T REMEMBER ANY OF THEIR NAMES! =)) And we have free snacks and lunch, how cool is that? We also get to hear a lot of interesting and inspiring stories from ex-catechists who still serve the Church until now. My knowledge about the Christian Faith ( I had 12 years worth of stock knowledge) is going to help me to be ready and prepared for my "mission" next month but much to my dismay, we need to speak Bisaya. :( I mean, I speak the language everyday but I don't know how to say the prayers in Bisaya and everyone in the group are so good at it na. This is going to be so hard for me plus I'm all alone during the catechism. Can I handle 20+ children? Lord, Help me. :(

Book Review : The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
This is not your typical vampire-meets-human story, it's about surviving in the brutal Hunger Games. The story is set in Panem, a badly shaped country once called "North America". It is composed of 13 districts and ruled by the Capitol or District 1. The Hunger Games is an annual event where 2 representatives from each district are put on a arena where they have to eliminate the competition by killing them. The story centers on Katniss Everdeen from District 12. Katniss is a skilled hunter who hunts for a living his his bestfriend, Gale. She volunteered herself to take over her sister's place since her sister, Primrose was one of the unfortunate ones to be drawn in the lottery of representatives. You'll enjoy how Katniss refused to be "a piece in their Games" She found ways how she can survive the Games without killing other representative and with the help of Peeta, who has a childhood crush on her, she might have a chance to win the brutal Games the Capitol enjoys.
Holy Friday
@ 3:30 PM, we started visiting churches in the south and say some prayers to The Almighty One who died for our sins. We went to Simala, a church in Argao, Sibonga and Carcar. We we're able to see old churches and how people are participating in the wake of Jesus Christ held in their respective churches. The images of the Saints we're covered. And the body of Christ was laid on the altar for everyone to see how He died for our sins. Jn 3:16
